K Van Petten (they/them) is a poet and musician exploring their in-betweens while floating between Bainbridge Island and Seattle. Their work explores otherness, multiplicity, and possibility, often blurring the boundaries of video, performance, audio poetry, and ambient music in exploration of queer identity and the intersections of sound and word. K's most recent project For Someone blends poetry and ambient music into a cassette release, created in residence at Centrum and distributed by Hello America Stereo Cassette.
