Author Biography
Gemma is a new poet with a tenured love for writing about queerness, lesbianism, and the butch identity. They have the immense pleasure of listing the Washington State Queer Poetry Anthology as the first non-scientific collection to include their work, and hope to discover more avenues for expressing the familiar and inescapable concepts of love and longing as they mirror nature. You can find Gemma rising with the sun most days of the week to foster community as a barista, non-profit coordinator, musician, and lover, all in the beautiful city of Bellingham, WA.
