Author Biography

Solace Sinclair is a queer transsexual writer and multi-media artist. He grew up in the area known as Seattle, and spent much of his adolescence enamored with the queer and music scenes of the big city. He is the founder and current editor in chief of The Lilac Journal, a multi-media publication dedicated to only publishing the works of transgender individuals. His work centers queerness, transness, deconstruction of gender, disability and chronic pain, the magic of joy and intimacy, nature, grief, time, and the unknowing expanses of the universe. When he’s not creating, you can find him reading, birdwatching, cooking, or hanging out with his parrot. You can support his work by visiting lilacjournal.com, or finding him on Patreon.
