Author Biography
Sandra Yannone (she, they) is the current Poet Laureate of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, her original hometown; she lives bicoastally between the Pacific Northwest and New England. She is the author of The Glass Studio (2024) and Boats for Women (2019), both published by Salmon Poetry in County Clare, Ireland. Her poetry has appeared in Ploughshares, Naugatuck River Review, Poetry Ireland Review, Lavender Review, and Women’s Review of Books. She currently is co-editing the poetry anthology, Unsinkable: Poems Inspired by the Titanic, completing a circus-themed chapbook of sonnets, and organizing her third collection, Preparations for the Unknown.
