A 64 year old queer activist, mentor, organizer and champion of harm reduction services. They’ve been living with HIV for nearly 40 years. They were sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey of St. Joan in 2013, for work that improves the fabric of the community. They write stories and poetry with the goal to foster intergenerational connection and leadership. In December 2018, they debuted their writing in the performance event, AIDS It’s In Our Blood; Stories of Love, Loss, Rage and Survival at Seattle’s LGBTQ Center formerly known as Gay City. The poems also appeared in Stonewall’s Legacy A Poetry Anthology in 2019.
