Their love of language began in classrooms, where they worked as an assistant ESL teacher. After being diagnosed with several progressive illnesses, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, she continued her pursuit of a literary lifestyle by writing from home– kept cozy by spoiled pets and a plethora of unfinished art projects. Their poetry aims to catalogue and explore the particularities of life with disability, queerness, and the intersection of the two.
